Had this once and buying again (lost in a move I guess). Really buying it for 2 recipes: making a real steak and roasting potatoes and veggies. Both I have done countless times but now forget. Greatest steak ever and the aroma of the roasting fills the house and is so good. The TV series never missed funny and great ideas on home design and cooking. Actually had a stylist say, I never knew that after I told her to cut my hair with its grain or flow as was said during the series. I loved it; and my wife, guests and now grandkids love the cooking (yes my wife said you cook so well the kitchen is completely not just dinner is yours; so now 25 years later I really need this book for I do not like recipes from anyplace.
Loved the show, love the book.
From fashion, to design, to grooming, to cooking, and even to socializing, this book has it all. It's not a complete resource book but it has enough of everything to get you started. I'm glad I bought one.

It is a fun read with a lot of sensible information for anyone, not just men. Of course, the sections involving clothing and grooming are men-centric, but you don't have to be a man to learn cooking and decorating from this book.
